Summary

Information We Process

Task Data (created by you)

Taskful Day processes the information you enter, such as task titles, notes, scheduled dates/times, priorities, and completion status. This data is used to provide app features like Today view, rollover, widgets, and analytics.

Local Notifications (optional)

If you add reminders, Taskful Day uses Apple’s local notification system to alert you at the times you choose. Notification permissions are requested only when you attempt to enable reminders.

Apple Reminders Import (optional)

If you choose to import from Apple Reminders, Taskful Day requests access to your reminders and reads the reminder items you select to import. Imported reminders are copied into Taskful Day as tasks. Taskful Day does not modify your Apple Reminders in V1 (one-way import).

Purchase Information (optional)

If you purchase Taskful Day Pro, the App Store processes payments. Taskful Day receives a receipt from Apple to verify your entitlement. We do not receive your payment card details.

Diagnostics

Taskful Day does not collect analytics about your usage by default. Apple may provide crash logs and diagnostics depending on your device settings (for example, if you choose to share analytics with developers).

Where Your Data Is Stored

On your device (default)

By default, Taskful Day stores your data locally on your device. This includes tasks, preferences, and reminder settings.

In your iCloud (only if you enable it)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your task data is stored in your personal iCloud account and synced across your devices using Apple’s infrastructure. Taskful Day does not operate its own servers for this data.

How We Use Information

Data Sharing

Taskful Day does not sell your personal information. We do not share your task content with third parties. Data may be processed by Apple as part of services you choose to use, such as iCloud Sync, local notifications, and in-app purchases.

Your Choices & Controls

Data Retention

Taskful Day keeps your data for as long as you keep it. If you delete tasks, they are removed from the app. If you use iCloud Sync, Apple’s iCloud services handle syncing and retention according to your iCloud settings.

Security

We use Apple’s platform security features. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS security mechanisms. If you enable iCloud Sync, Apple’s iCloud security protections apply.

Children’s Privacy

Taskful Day is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Users

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is processed and stored by Apple’s iCloud services, which may involve servers in different regions depending on your Apple ID and Apple’s infrastructure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
